Ciara started off commuting to and from college and then began off road riding local trails. She completed her first race in 1996…and won. The rest is history.

- Competing in Round 2 of the MTB world cup in 2011.
- Completing the Breck Epic MTB stage race in Colorado in 2010.
- Finishing in top 30 of Rás na mBan 2010.
- National Cyclocross Champion 2010/2011.
- Representing Ireland and assisting with Olympic Qualification in 2007.
- 2011 National Marathon MTB Champion
- 2012 & 2011 National Cyclocross Champion
