This plan utilises coaching experienced developed both on and off the bike by the Dig Deep Coaching team. It will provide structure to daily training on the bike whilst developing a personal understanding on how to train. As the weeks progress you will start to feel the benefits physically on the bike coupled with increased confidence in this new found progression through structured coaching.
This is for the individual relatively new to the sport who is keen to embark on a challenge within to improve overall lifestyle and wellbeing. This person will have perhaps not completed any previous cycling events nor is part of a local club or training group. Limited on time to get on the bike but keen to make each day count. This is the plan for you.
|How Much Time Will The Plan Take Up?|
The plan varies week to week on the overall durations with WEEK 1 being the shortest at a total of 4hrs and the longest is WEEK 8 which sees an increase to 6hr 40min on the bike. The average duration is around 5 ½ hrs a week. These plans will be based around your lifestyle and work/family commitments so each training session will count towards your progression and preparation for the Sportive Event.
